In The Pink Saturday - Shock Winner

Drumroll please...

For 'It's Pink Saturday' on Sunday morning some breaking news out of the UK

Shock 'In The Pink' winner...

At the local Somewhere-Shire Produce show my Mum (who wishes to be known only as Mrs Tickled Pink entered a few flowers from the garden into the 2013 'In the Pink' Flower Arrangers United competition. She has just won first place!!! The judge Mrs Mind-Your-Own-Beeswax said,
'A wonderful interpretation - very clever - immaculate material beautifully arranged'
Mrs Tickled Pink when interviewed by local Press said
'I can only boast to you, as I think there was a bit of muttering by some as I didn't use pink flowers in the design like everybody else'.
'Please note home-grown grapes'!
My Mum has now gone into hiding, along with my Father, her winnings and a large bottle of Rosé to celebrate.
Note: Names have been changed to protect the identity of the Judge...
Well done Mum!!!

Hello to all the wonderful Pink Saturday bloggers out there. This is my second Pink Saturday post, my first had a problem because I unloaded (somehow) a huge pink picture which obliterated most of the blog. I must admit I was somewhat distracted because the leadership results were on the telly and our new Australain Prime Minister who was speaking at the time!!! However it was fortuitous because Mum's flower story is much better!!!
If you would like to see how creative and wonderful the other Pink Saturday bloggers are - please check them out here!
Have a wonderful weekend

Hey, what ever happened to Summer? I hope yours was lovely, mine was pretty amazing! It feels like my whole year has whizzed past in a flash, how about yours?  I've had a year of saying "yes" to everything offered to me. It has been exciting to put it out to the Universe to see where I should be. We feel very fortunate to be able to do this in my husband's early years of retirement. I'm just back in Asia from the US. I never feel my year is quite right without seeing British daffodils in the Spring and a pumpkin and the leaves turning in Autumn. Yay, the world nailed it this year, thank you.  Read on to find out what happened when my ultimate yes occurred on a trip to Montana to meet Ruth, an IG friend. I know Bloggers will smile and not be at all concerned, we've been meeting up around the globe for years, haven't we...?!  But let's just say some of my family and friends were, you're doing what?! But first some Little Wren updates! France I had so
